Driving in an automatic in the beautiful market town of Ripon couldn’t be simpler with Learn Driving UK. We will start you somewhere quiet, like the Lead Lane estate or around Claro Road and Lark Lane near Ripon Grammar school. As you progress and you start to experience country roads we may take you up the B6265 Studley Road, which is such a beautiful ride towards Galphay and Kirkby Malzeard.

You will be safe at all times as all our driving school cars are fitted with dual controls so that the driving instructor can take charge of the vehicle at a moment’s notice.

As you are progressing through your driving lessons in Ripon and becoming more confident you will move on to driving around Ripon town centre, then driving through to Harrogate or Northallerton and tackling the busier roundabouts, learning to manoeuvre the car in tight spaces, parking between two cars, parking in bays and much more.

The driving test centres are based at Knaresborough (Ground Floor Unit 9, Grimbald Crag Court, St James Business Park, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire HG5 8QB) and in Northallerton. Your automatic driving instructor will advise and agree with you which test centre is most suited to your skills and mindset. You will carryout regular lessons driving to and from your chosen test centre, so you become familiar with the roads and traffic there.
