My name’s Brian Munns, I’ve been a driving instructor for 11 years now and i have lived in Harrogate since the age of 24.

I passed my Driving test when I was 19 years old at the 3rd attempt ( well no ones perfect). I remember one particular driving instructor who was very shouty, Can you imagine how Scary that was for someone learning to drive for the first time. Thank goodness that style of teaching was assigned the history books long ago.

So I’ve been working with various driving schools over the last 11 years and LDUK. Knocks the spots off of any driving school I have ever worked with before. My style of teaching is Calm, Relaxed and a little bit of humour goes a long way to making a driving lesson. An enjoyable experience too.

Some people worry about what their first driving lesson will be like, Well, we begin on very quite side roads to practice moving off and stopping, And then moving on eventually to Junctions left and right turns etc. This helps to build your driving skills and your confidence before learning to drive on main roads.

Learning to drive is a life skill and here at Learn Driving UK we don’t teach people to drive just for the driving test. We try to instil all the qualities of the safe and sensible driver able to deal with situations as effectively as possible.
