Driving Instructor - Harrogate & Knaresborough
Hi, I’m David Shinkfield, one of the automatic driving instructors with Learn Driving UK, teaching pupils within the Harrogate area.
I am motivated, punctual and also like to teach in a friendly, relaxed environment as I feel this brings out the best in my pupils, allowing them to fulfil their potential with lessons tailored to suit each individual.
I passed my driving test in the late 1980’s, before theory tests even existed, and I used to regularly drive 20,000 miles annually.
I live in Harrogate with my wife and two sons, one is away at University and the other will also be going later this year.
In my spare time I enjoy health and fitness which includes playing golf at Oakdale and badminton at Harrogate Racquets club, as well as for Yorkshire over 45’s. I am also a Foundation Level qualified badminton coach.
