Hello,​ ​I’m​ ​Rick​ ​and​ ​I​ ​am​ ​a​ ​recent​ ​member​ ​of​ ​Learn​ ​Driving​ ​UK​ ​team.​ ​

I​ ​am​ ​a​ ​married,​ ​father​ ​to​ ​2​ ​daughters​ ​and​ ​a​ ​son​ ​and​ ​have​ ​been​ ​driving​ ​for​ ​over​ ​30​ ​years.​ ​
I​ ​passed​ ​my​ ​car​ ​driving​ ​test​ ​aged​ ​18​ ​and​ ​my​ ​motorbike​ ​test​ ​aged​ ​26.​ ​I​ ​have​ ​also​ ​completed​ ​a​ ​motorbike​ ​safety​ ​course​ ​with​ ​North​ ​Yorkshire​ ​Police.​ ​

In​ ​my​ ​spare​ ​time​ ​I​ ​am​ ​restoring​ ​a​ ​motorbike,​ ​learning​ ​to​ ​play​ ​the​ ​drums​ ​and​ ​am​ ​a​ ​keen​ ​DIYer.​ ​I​ ​really​ ​enjoy​ ​just​ ​spending​ ​time​ ​with​ ​my​ ​family​ ​and​ ​our​ ​3​ ​dogs.​ ​

I​ ​have​ ​always​ ​enjoyed​ ​driving​ ​and​ ​the​ ​fantastic​ ​freedom​ ​it​ ​brings.​ ​People​ ​who​ ​know​ ​me​ ​say​ ​I​ ​am​ ​calm,​ ​patient​ ​and​ ​knowledgeable.​ ​

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First-Time Pass

I would rate my experience with my driving instructor and Learn Driving UK as 5 out of 5. The instruction throughout my lessons was clear and concise, which really helped me focus on the areas I needed to improve and build my skills confidently.

I found my instructor through word of mouth. Rick Dallaston had previously provided driving lessons to someone I knew and came highly recommended, so I felt confident choosing him from the start.

Now that I have passed my driving test, I feel both happy and relieved that the testing process is complete. Achieving a first-time pass has been a great outcome and a real confidence boost.

I found Learn Driving UK through a Google search and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Now that I’ve passed my driving test, I feel relieved, proud, and really happy — I can’t wait to get my new car and start driving independently.

I gave my instructor and Learn Driving UK a 10/10 rating because the teaching was excellent throughout. My instructor was brilliant, very patient, and always encouraging. Everything was explained clearly, which helped build my confidence and ensured I felt fully prepared for my driving test.

I found Learn Driving UK through Facebook and I’m really excited to have passed my driving test first time. My instructor, Rick Dallaston, was a very nice person and made me feel comfortable throughout my lessons. He was always happy to help and took the time to explain things clearly whenever I didn’t understand.

Learning to drive was a very pleasant experience overall, and I’d like to thank Learn Driving UK for helping me achieve my first-time pass.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I found Learn Driving UK through Google and I’m really happy with my experience and I passed my driving test first time. Rick is exceptionally well suited to teaching — he is calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. From the very first lesson, he made me feel at ease and supported.

Rick is the only driving instructor I would recommend in this area, without hesitation. As a neurodivergent learner, feeling safe and understood was incredibly important to me, and Rick provided that completely. I will absolutely be recommending him to other neurodivergent learners and encouraging them to choose him as their first option.

There is nothing more I can add beyond what I’ve already said — Rick is an outstanding instructor and a thoroughly decent person.
