Hi my name is Simon I am 56 years old born and raised in Bramley Leeds. I went to school at Benjamin got high school and managed to achieve five O-levels, which, when you consider I am dyslexic was a massive achievement.
Being dyslexic has helped me as a driving instructor connect with students who are struggling with this disability too. I’ve never let it worry me and I help pupils who are dyslexic or have dyspraxia feel more confident in all that they do. We can all achieve anything we put our minds to.
I have been a driving instructor for over 11 years and I'm still learning, recently training as an Instructor Trainer has upped my game as a driving instructor.
I am of the old school, if I say I will be there, I will be there. I tell you the truth about your driving. I am not one of these instructors who will hold the clutch for you and do other things for you and then say you've had a wonderful lesson. When you have lessons with me you will have done all the work yourself and go home feeling very proud, as I'm proud of all my pupils.
I tend to cover west of the River Aire. I will get you started in a nice quiet area moving on at your pace. We all learn at different speeds and each pupil needs are different. I have lots of patience and will support you always. Eventually you will even feel confident driving around the loop in Leeds city centre. We will tackle the Armley gyratory and do some proper country roads, because you're driving should be of every condition not just up and down the same road.
