Tim Sutton

Until recently, I worked in the retail sector, with experience in major supermarkets, the UK charity sector and overseas franchise work. It is the background in customer service, leadership and a lifelong ambition to see others succeed that led me to becoming a driving instructor. Having helped coach my three daughters when they were learning to drive, it occurred to me (well, in truth, it was my family who planted the seed) that as I enjoyed it so much, I should pursue the dream!

And that’s exactly what I did. I’ve been with a local organization for almost two years and decided to join LDUK as their values for service, excellence and teamwork, really connected with me. I am patient, calm and thorough in my teaching, working together with students, as a partnership, to develop both a safe and responsible mindset to driving for life.

I have a Masters, in Leadership Studies, from the University of Exeter and like to spend downtime with the family, including two crazy cocker spaniels, at home in Nidderdale.
